Dan Finney, III
After graduating from St. Louis University School of Law in 2005, Daniel P. Finney, III took a position at the City of St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office where he tried felony gun and drug cases. Since joining his father’s practice in 2008, Dan has recovered awards for his clients in claims of automobile negligence, premise liability, sexual harassment, employment discrimination, and professional malpractice, including settlements for $195,000 in a pedestrian / automobile negligence case, $300,000 for automobile negligence involving a claim for underinsurance, and $450,000 for legal malpractice of a wrongful death claim.
He is licensed to practice in the States of Missouri and Illinois, the Eastern District of Missouri Federal Court, and the Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the American Association of Justice, Missouri Bar, Illinois State Bar Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Prior to graduating law school, Dan worked as a busboy, waiter, pantry chef, construction laborer, landscaper, and forest firefighter. He also could be seen around town as an actor in various ensemble stage productions for the New Line Theater Group. He currently resides in University City with his wife and two young children.
